The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Elimination of Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster supports the Bill on Amendments to Clause 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine (re Tax Exemption of Operations concerning Sale of Certain Types of Waste as Recyclable Materials)

The bill (Reg. No. 8504) supplements clause 197 (tax-free operations) of the Tax Code of Ukraine with a new item 197.18, which exempts from tax the operations of production enterprises concerning sale of certain types of waste as recyclable materials (except scrap metal) according to the list compiled by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Cabinet of Ministers sets the procedure of tax exemption, the list of operations exempt from tax, and the order of application of funds.
